Each camp is divided into two individual sessions with a one-hour brown bag lunch break in-between. Sign your child up for either one, or sign up for a day full of creativity and do both sessions. Each session is $120 or the full day is $260.
July 6th -10th
Incoming Grades 3-5
Morning Session: Faces and Places from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Create characters and scenes to invent a creative story out of clay
Afternoon session: Slaptasic Slabs and Courageous Coils from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Slap down some slabs and transform clay into trays then build some fantastic coil sculptures that defy expectations.
July 20-24th
Incoming Grades K-2 and 3-5
Morning Session: (Kindegarten-2nd grade) Ancient ARTifacts from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Investigate the ancient Aztecs by learning how to make clay tablets and Ocarinas (clay musical instruments)
Afternoon session: (3rd-5th grade) Sculptural pinch pile-ups from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Create a large sculptural clay objects by pinching clay in order to form the pieces of an assemblage.
August 3rd – 7th
Incoming Grades 5-8
Morning Session: Character Creator from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Make a life-sized facemask of your favorite character, do a self-portrait or invent something all your own.
Afternoon session: Fresh Pots from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. (Limited spaces available, register ASAP)
Jump on the potter’s wheel, get your hands dirty and try out making your own “funky“ plates and mugs.
