Free admission to Pittsburgh venues in September and October!

RADical Days is an annual event celebrating the assets with free admission, musical and dance performances and family activities offered by arts and culture organizations, parks and recreation, and sports and regional attractions that are funded by RAD.

Here's some of the free events that you may want to check out! Keep in mind that these venues aren't offering free admission every day. Take a look at this schedule to see when each is offering these free days. You can also look at the whole schedule here, because there are a lot of events offered!

October 10
Frick Art & Historical Center
Free admission 10am-5pm
Explore Clayton, the restored Frick family mansion, by taking free, self-guided tours; enjoy Forbidden Fruit: Chris Antemann at Meissen® at The Frick Art Museum; and experience the Frick Visitor Center. Fort Pitt Museum
Free admission 10am-5pm
Get to the point of Pittsburgh's history and experience the dramatic, world-changing events that occurred right here in Western Pennsylvania. Stand side-by-side with life-like museum figures, learn about the colonial era through hundreds of artifacts, and explore Pittsburgh life in the 18th century at the Fort Pitt Museum, located in historic Point State Park. Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium
Free admission 9am-5pm (gates close at 4pm)
Combine learning, fun, and exploration with a visit to the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium. Enjoy our newest exhibit, The Islands, along with thousands of animals, including sea lions, leopards, elephants, polar bears, giraffes, and penguins. Sponsored by PPG Industries. At the Water's Edge exhibit: performance by Calliope Folk Music Society (2pm); take home art with Sweetwater Arts Center; raffle activity with Chamber Music Pittsburgh. Senator John Heinz History Center and Western PA Sports Museum
Free admission 10am-5pm
Relive a few classic battles. Enjoy all six floors of this Smithsonian-affiliated museum, presenting American history with a Western Pennsylvania connection. Feel the pride of our region by exploring the lives of Pittsburghers who have changed the world through a variety of engaging exhibitions. Don’t miss the new We Can Do It! WWII exhibition.
