Beaver County Fall Events and Halloween Haunts - 2016

Here's the 2016 Beaver Valley Macaroni Kid Fall Events and Halloween Haunts guide for October! Feel free to leave a comment at the end or send me an email at danah@macaronikid.com if you know of something that's going on in Beaver County that I should include.

Fall Fun Events and Pumpkin Patches
In order of date

Maze Craze
When: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through November 6. Also, Wednesday evenings from 10/5/16 until 10/26/16. Located at 14070 Woodworth Dr. (St. Rte. 165) New Springfield, OH 44443. Visit Maze Craze, with 21 acres of corn turned into a maze. It has 4 mazes, with one that's great for younger kids. 12 and over: $10; 5 to 11: $8; 4 and under: free. Check out the website for hours.

Trick or Treat at the YMCA
When: Sunday, Oct. 23 from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Y
The Beaver County YMCA will host a fun and safe afternoon of trick or treating for your family. Come dressed in your favorite costume for spooky fun time. FREE and Open to the Community. Receive a free month of membership just for stopping by! Pre-registration required.


Beaver Falls Fall Festival
When: Saturday, Oct. 29 from 12 - 7 p.m. on 7th Ave.
Trick or treat with local businesses, vendors, live mucis and performances, children's activities in March Park, $10 family portraits.

Monaca Halloween Parade
When: Sat., Oct. 29 at 11 a.m.
Starts on Pennsylvania Ave. and 10th St. to 13th St. then to St. John the Baptist Church. Kids' activities, bounce house and raffles.

Ambridge Halloween Parade
When: Sat., Oct. 29 at 1 p.m.
Parade route 11th to 4th on Merchant St. After the parade, trick or treat and visit businesses on Merchant St.

Frankenskate
When: Sat., October 29 at the Beaver County Ice Arena from 12:30-1:30 p.m. The Beaver County Figure Skating Club will host the Frankenskate Halloween Party Spooktacular at the Beaver County Ice Arena. The event will feature prizes for the best costumes and a bake sale. $5 admission, Children 5 and under are free.

Halloween at Old Economy
When: Sunday, Oct. 30 from 1-4 p.m.
Come in costume to Old Economy Village and trick or treat at the historic buildings. Admission: $10 adults, $6 kids 3-11

Halloween Party at the Beaver Valley Mall
The Beaver Valley Mall invites you to their Halloween Party on Monday, October 31st from 10:30 -11:30 a.m. at Center Fountain. Bring your little ghosts and goblins all dressed up for crafts, stories, treats and more! At the end of the event, we will all parade down to the train for a free ride! Hozak Farms Fall Festival
When:  10 a.m. - 6 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday in October.  In Clinton. There are hayrides, pumpkin picking & painting, refreshments, face painting, pony rides, farm animals, and a corn maze.

Janoski's Pumpkinland
When:  10 a.m. - 5 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday in October. There are hayrides to the pumpkin patch, a cornstalk maze, a haunted barn, a straw jump, crafts, food, pumpkin painting and pony rides. Yeck's Pumpkins and Hayrides
When:  Fridays at 6 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at noon until Oct. 30. 5568, Baker Rd, Freedom, PA 15042
Hayrides, corn maze, crawl-through hay tunnel, tricycles, animals. Hayrides are $5/person for those 3 and older.

Haunted Events
These are haunted events that are offering spooky. Editor's note: I have some age levels listed for these events. Some are very kid-friendly and some are not. If you have any questions, please contact these places and ask them what ages they suggest could participate. And here's an article about this topic.

Haunted Mini-Golf at The Windmill
When:  Runs through Nov. 1. It doesn't become truly haunted until after dark, so if you're with younger kids, go there while it's still light out. Cost:  $8 adults, $6 children 12 and under. Click here for more info or call 724-375-5350.

Zombies of the Corn
When: Oct 7 & 8, Oct 14 & 15, Oct. 21,22 & 23 and Oct. 28, 29 & 30. 7 p.m. till midnight. 282 Rochester Rd. Freedom
Zombie shoot, wagon ride, ghost stories, camp fires, food and fun. Online reservations are suggested. Some days are already sold out!

Freddy’s Haunts
When:  Friday, Saturday, Sundays until October 30. 7-11 p.m.  at 192 McCune Road, Independence Township. Follow the Freddy’s signs from the Aliquippa exit of Route 376. For older kids and adults. Open rain or shine! Cost: $12 For information click here.

Beaver County Humane Society Beastly Haunted Trail
When: Every Friday and Saturday in October. Join us for thrills and chills on the Haunted Trail. Entrance fee is $10 for all ages. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
