Just Between Friends (JBF) of Pittsburgh North, part of the nation’s leading maternity and children’s consignment sales event system, is now accepting registrations for the upcoming spring/summer sale!

The JBF Sale will be held May 18-20 at the RMU Island Sports Center Golf Dome, on Neville Island (located just off I-79). Mark your calendar to come SHOP and SAVE with JBF (click here for the shopping schedule)!


In addition to having fun and shopping, JBF helps moms and dads across the Pittsburgh area make money on their children’s outgrown and unused items, so that they are able to purchase what they need at greatly discounted prices. As we know, children don’t stop growing just because of a tough economy! We're glad to help local families put money back in their own pockets!

Volunteer to Shop 1st!
The JBF event operates with the help of volunteers! In addition to having fun volunteering with other moms (& dads!), volunteers shop first at the event in order to find the best bargains from a wider selection of merchandise! Consign to Earn $$$
Looking to sell your gently used, previously loved children’s items? There is still plenty of time to get them ready and make some extra money! Click here to visit the Consign pageon the JBF website to view a few simple steps to get started!
Want to EARN EVEN MORE CA$H?! Here are a few very savvy Consignor Tips:
  • Volunteer!
    You will make an extra 10% on your sales if you volunteer for just 4 hours at the sale! Not only will you earn more, but it’s FUN! Volunteers shop first at the event ~ before the public!

  • Spread The Word!
    The more shoppers that visit the JBF Sale, the bigger YOUR check will be!

  • Be Picky!
    Look at the items as if YOU were going to purchase them. When you are going through your items, have a JBF bin, a donation bin, and a trash can as you sort. Only bring your BEST to the JBF sale so you don’t waste time tagging and maximize your earnings.

  • The Price IS Right!
    If you set your price right, it IS going to sell! Generally, items sell for 1/4 to 1/2 of original price, depending on condition. Ask yourself, "What would I pay for this item?" Remember, if it is priced too high and doesn't sell, it’s not money in your pocket, so price to sell and always mark your items to go ½ off at our 50% sale on Sunday!
  • Presentation!
    Sometimes, it’s all in the presentation! For clothing, clean all items, snap all snaps, cut loose hems, and even press or use wrinkle release. Include manuals with baby equipment, electronics, etc.. Take a picture of it assembled if it includes several pieces so the shopper can see exactly what they are buying. Take a little time to prep your items and they will be the first to go!
