The Henry Mancini Arts Academy at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center presents their summer workshops for ages 6-18! There are four workshops being offered:
Musical Theatre for Kids (Ages 6-9)
July 9-13, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-12:00pm - $125
With classes in Dance, Acting and Voice, students will develop their talents and explore new outlets
within the arts. Musical Theatre for Kids will conclude with a performance of selections from Willy Wonka in the Studio Theatre.
Musical Theatre for Teens (Ages 13-18)
July 9-27, Monday–Friday, 9:00am—3:30pm -$325
This year’s Teen program is a step above traditional Musical Theatre summer camps. Immersing
students in Dance, Acting and Voice, the camp will also provide opportunities for students to overlap
each discipline. Performance techniques will be developed as well as confidence and personal style. This three-week program will conclude in the performance of Fame Jr. in the Studio Theatre.
Musical Theatre for Pre-Teens (Ages 10-12)
July 16-27, Monday-Friday, 9:30am—12:30pm - $250
Musical Theatre for Pre-Teens is designed to develop confidence and proficiency in Acting, Voice and Dance; the building blocks of Musical Theatre. This two-week program will culminate with a performance of selections from Willy Wonka in the Studio Theatre.
Dance Intensive (Ages 9-18*)
July 9-27, Monday-Friday, 9:00am—2:00pm -$350
The Dance Intensive promises a unique and challenging dance experience that will help dancers
grow technically, artistically, and personally. Courses include a daily Ballet/Pointe class, supplemented with Modern, Jazz and Tap, Improvisation and Performance Techniques. Students will be afforded the opportunity to explore in a safe, encouraging environment. This three-week program will conclude with a performance in the Studio Theatre. *Students will be evaluated for placement by level on the first day of class.
Registration is on a first come-first serve basis and is open until classes are at capacity. All classes and schedules may be subject to change. The Henry Mancini Arts Academy reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or change classes and/or instructors without advance notice.
