Part of the reason why I became a Macaroni Kid Publishing Mom for Beaver Valley was because I figured it would help me find activities for the kids to do. But at the same time, I was nervous because I thought that I wouldn't have anything to list. Now that I've been at this for a month, I realize, was I wrong!
There is a lot to do in Beaver County with your kids.
Just during the past few weeks, there have been at least eight fall festivals/pumpkin patches/harvest parties in the County. If you or your kids love ponies, you're in luck, because it seems like everyone's got pony rides. And face painting. And bounce houses. And hayrides!
Center Township is celebrating their first annual FallFest at Taddeo Park on Saturday. Yes, there will be pony rides! There's also a costume parade and lots of other great things to do. What else? Well, Beaver's downtown district is having a festival with a trick or treat event and other activities. The Rochester Giant Eagle is sponsoring an Autumn Scavenger Hunt. The Beaver Falls Rec Board has a great fall festival lined up.
