Sometimes people tell me that they're interested in advertising with Beaver Valley Mac Kid, but then follow that up with, "I'm sure I can't afford it." When I tell them what the rates are and all of the options they have to choose from, they're surprised.
Yes, I reach thousands of parents in Beaver County, but I keep my rates low. I want to be sure that advertising in the newsletter and on the website is not going to break your marketing/advertising budget, especially if you're a home-based business or a small company looking for exposure. I accept ads from family-friendly businesses, groups and individuals--and that doesn't necessarily mean that all the advertising is kid-related. Some of my advertisers focus on reaching moms because of their interests (fitness studios, travel agencies).
