Sprouting Melodies® Begins Summer Classes

July 24, 2014
After great winter and spring classes, Sprouting Melodies is now accepting registrations for its Summer Session! Sprouting Melodies® is an early childhood music and movement program for children AND the adults who love them that was started in Beaver County by Michelle Muth, MT-BC, a board-certified music therapist who also owns M3 Music Therapy.

Here are the classes, dates and times. Any questions can be directed to Michelle at
724-624-9009.

The Summer Session will he held on Thursday mornings. Classes run July 10 - July 31. Classes are held at Bridge Street Yoga in Bridgewater (99 Bridge Street, Ste. 2-3) and provided by M3 Music Therapy.

What Time Each Week? What Do You Learn in the Classes?
  • Sprouting Melodies 3 (Ages 18 months – 3 years):  9:30-10:15 a.m.
Between 18 months and 3 years of age, each day is an adventure full of growth and exploration! Songs become learned and mastered, and young children want to show off their new skills and independence. Within our music experiences, Sprouting Melodies 3 provides the routine that toddlers crave yet provides the freedom and creativity for children to grow in self-expression and to build social relationships with their peers in music. Through instrument play, movement and singing songs, children in this group will be supported as they move through their own personal journey of social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth.
  • Family Sprouts (0-5 years): 10:30-11:15 a.m.
All young children can learn and grow in music. Family Sprouts gathers kids and families together and provides opportunities for children of different ages to learn and interact together. In music making, as in development, babies, toddlers and preschoolers have unique needs. Each Family Sprouts class includes active music making designed to elicit different responses from the children based on their cognitive, social and physical skills. Michelle will be able to direct parents on how the experience for children of different ages will be unique. This is also a great class for siblings and twins and will give you lots of new ways to incorporate music in your family time at home. Also a great class for friends that would not otherwise be able to take a Sprouting Melodies class together.

What's the Cost?
The cost for either summer session is $76. For each additional sibling enrolled in the same class, you will receive a 50 percent discount!

What If We're on Vacation the During One of the Classes?
That's okay! Your fee for the session can be pro-rated. After you've completed registration, send along a note to Michelle telling her the class or classes you'll be missing, and she'll send you a new invoice.
