2014 American Girl Fashion Show Model Search

It's that time of year again! MACARONI KID OF PITTSBURGH LLC IS SO PROUD TO SPONSOR FOR THE 4TH YEAR IN A ROW, THE JUNIOR LEAGUE OF PITTSBURGH AMERICAN GIRL FASHION SHOW!

Model Search schedule is as follows:

• Models must fit a size 6x (Bitty Baby / little girl outfits) or size 10 (historical and contemporary). See size chart below for measurements.

• Please fill out a model application and bring it to a model search event.  Applications must include a current close-up photograph.
  

• Selected models will be assigned to one of five show groups.

• Models must be able to attend fittings and rehearsals.

• Models may be required to supply footwear and accessories depending on her costume.

• Models must be able to be away from parent(s)/guardian(s) for three hours (one hour before the show and during the two-hour performance) and feel comfortable walking a runway in front of 200 people.

• Parent(s)/Guardian(s) must purchase tickets in order to see the show in which their child appears.

• A model packet will be provided at the rehearsal with additional information.

• There is no photography during the show. Each model will have her picture taken by a professional photographer prior to the show and parents will have the opportunity to purchase as many photos as they wish.

• The American Girl dolls are diverse; therefore, girls of all races and cultures are encouraged to apply.

• Model Application Fee: $30 (payable only if chosen).

American Girl Size Chart

Size 10 girls will model American Girl historical and contemporary clothing. Size 6X girls will model American Girl Little Girl clothing line.

If your child is not within the range of measurements listed above, please still come to the model search! In a true American Girl spirit, we try to be as accommodating as possible so all girls can join in the fun!  

Additionally, your American Girl can join the excitement on stage as a Guest Model. For an additional $25 donation, Guest Models and their dolls get to take their turn on the catwalk wearing their own outfits. Please note, the Guest Model fee must be paid in addition to the purchase of a Fashion Show ticket. 

If you are interested in Guest Modeling, purchase a Guest Model Fee when you purchase your tickets so that your American Girl is reserved a Guest Model position.
