Pitter Patter Place Childcare

Dedicated to the care and early education of your kids!

September 18, 2014
Have you heard of Pitter Patter Place Childcare? This childcare and preschool facility is in Allied Plaza in Fallston, right on Route 51. When it opened more than two years ago, it had undergone a complete renovation with new floors, walls, bathrooms and kitchens, and right now, they are adding a new room with a toddler-sized toliet and sink. They also have a 50’x50’ grassy, fenced-in play yard that is being renovated too!

For Children 6 Weeks Old to 2nd Grade
Pitter Patter Place has a preschool room, is building a toddler room for older toddlers (18 months - three years) and has an infant/young toddler room. Each room has two teachers, as required by Pennsylvania’s provider/child ratio for daycares. The infants and young toddlers are together just like a family at home, where they learn from and play with each other. All children at the center attend preschool, but they also offer a three-hour-daily preschool for three days a week.

The management and staff at Pitter Patter Place Childcare are dedicated to the care and early education of children. At this center, children learn through play and are able to work individually and cooperatively with their peers and adults. They eat high quality, healthy food that is made in-house from fresh, wholesome ingredients. The owner, Deb Biernesser, says, “Here at Pitter Patter Place, your children are our top priority. We want you and your children to feel loved, happy and excited to learn and grow.”

Remodeled, spacious interior

The goal of Pitter Patter Place Childcare is to have children who work well with others, are prepared to be future leaders, and enjoy learning. Deb knows that happy kids equal satisfied adults. When parents trust their caregivers, they’re at peace and can go about their day knowing that their kids are in wonderful hands.

Pay Only For What You Need
Parents, your kids can come one day a week or five days a week, or anything in between! You only pay for what you need that week. If you need one day this week and two the next, that’s all that you pay for. There is no minimum amount of days required to be at Pitter Patter Place Childcare. It’s perfect for parents who work different days and hours every week or every month.

Accepting children from 6 weeks through 2nd grade

Deb tells a wonderful story about the name of her place: When she was a child, her great-grandmother visited her family. Deb vividly remembers her saying, “I hear the pitter patter of little angel feet.” She continues, “Then she would give us the kind of hug that I will always remember. I knew that she loved each one of us.” In fact, Deb has that story hanging on the wall of her center, along with her great-grandmother’s picture!

Pitter Patter Place is just minutes from Route 65 and Interstate 376. You can stop by at any time to take a tour or call at 724-843-7080. Deb’s email is debbie@pitterpatterplace.com. Take a look at the Pitter Patter Place Facebook page, too.

Testimonials From Happy Parents
You know your child's daycare is a wonderful place when their last words before bed are, "I can't wait for daycare tomorrow!"

My kids loved all the staff there and loved their homemade meals. Their favorite is shepherd’s pie. I don’t think there is one thing they didn’t enjoy. I can’t thank them enough for everything they have done for me and my kids.

As a first time mother, I was told my expectations for childcare were too high and that I had better lower my standards or become a stay-at-home mother. I started to believe this after I had to make the decision to pull my infant son out of his second daycare in less than 4 months. Pitter Patter Place was our third attempt at daycare, and I couldn't be more pleased with the care. The staff there is excellent and go above and beyond my expectations. When I leave my son there in the morning, I know he will be well cared for and his needs will be met. He is always happy to see his caregivers in the mornings and he never cries. The facility is immaculate and I know the staff washes their hands. I find the staff to be helpful, caring and conscientious. As a mother, I am most grateful for the fact that I did not have to lower my standards for the care my child receives.
