WIN TICKETS to the Home and Garden Show!!

It's a sure sign of spring: The Home and Garden Show is coming to Beaver County! The popular event, sponsored by The Beaver County Times, runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 at the Community College of Beaver County.

You can win 4 tickets to the Home and Garden Show! Simply leave a comment at the end of this article. You must be 18 or older and a subscriber to Beaver Valley Macaroni Kid. Contest begins March 5 and ends March 9.

There will be presentations, consultations, exhibitors, and prizes. It's a day the whole family will enjoy. There will be an animal interaction area, meet and greet & photo opportunities with The Ice Queen, Snow Princess, and The Dark Knight. There will also be an Animal Tracks LIVE animal show! Be sure to bring the kids!

Visitors can watch a variety of demonstrations by home and garden experts, and browse among 60-plus exhibitors.

Special Guests
Doug Oster, co-host of popular "The Organic Gardeners" radio show, will be featured on the main stage at 10 a.m. He will be presenting, "How to Get Your Garden Growing Now!" and will be hosting a meet and greet and book sales and autographing.

Dave Crawley, a local TV feature reporter, will be talking about "Pittsburgh Firsts" and will be hosting a meet and greet and book sales and autographing.

Kids' Events
Ice Queen, Snow Princess and The Dark Knight
Children of all ages will love the opportunity to meet The Ice Queen, Snow Princess and The Dark Knight.  Photo opportunities available from noon until 1:45 p.m.

Live Animal Show and Animal Interaction Area
Stop by the Animal Interaction area and see different biofacts, see animals on display and even hold an animal. It's open from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The 45-minute live animal show will feature 8 animals, is interactive, education, and entertaining for all ages! The show will start at 1:30 p.m.

Home Depot Kids Club
Make a project at the Home Depot Kids Club booth

Another highlight is the new Alliance Federal Credit Union money machine. Some lucky parents will have the chance to go into the booth!

While you are at the show, you can enjoy clinics and demonstrations all day, presented by Home Depot and the Penn State Master Gardeners. And, stop by the Eat-n-Park booth for a chance to spin-to-win and get a Smiley cookie for the kids.

The Beaver County Humane Society, a partner for the event, and will sell concessions all day.
