Hippity, hoppity, Easter's on its way! Here's a listing of some Easter Egg hunts and activities in Beaver County and some surrounding areas. If you know of a hunt that I don't have listed here, leave a comment below or email me at danah@macaronikid.com.
I want to point out that many of these hunts are mostly town- or township-funded hunts and are limited to residents of that particular town. So unless I note otherwise that a hunt is open to everyone, please understand these hunts and activities are, in many cases, for residents only.Beaver Bunny Hop
Saturday, March 28 on Beaver's Main Street
10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Beaver opens its streets to families to stroll from store to store to fill their Easter baskets with goodies from the local chamber members. Kids are invited to get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny in the Borough Community Room.

Brighton Township Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 4 at Two Mile Run Park--Gypsy Glen Road
11 a.m. Children ages 2-10
Treat bags will be furnished for eggs. You must register with the Brighton Township office by March 30!
Center Township Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 28 at the Central Valley High School Football Field.
1 p.m. For ages 3-11.
Hopewell Township Spring Fest/Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 28, at Hopewell Township Community Park
11 am – 2 pm
Join the fun at Hopewell Park’s annual Spring Fest. The Easter Bunny will be there for free pictures! Egg Hunts are scheduled throughout the day for kids ages 2-12 to get candy and raffle tickets for chances to WIN a “Big Basket” or one of four bicycles, compliments of Hopewell Police Department! Concession Stand is open and crafters will be set up with unique items for sale. Pony rides, trackless train rides, and face painting, too! Adult Egg Hunt on the trail at 1:00 to win prizes.

Beaver Valley Mall Easter Bunny Pictures
Hop on over to the Easter Bunny's springtime garden, located in the Center Court of the mall, join us for the arrival of your favorite bunny - the Easter Bunny!
Easter Photos -- Create a springtime memory with visits and photos with the Easter Bunny. Photo packages are available starting at just $22. From March 21-April 4, you can visit the Easter Bunny and get your photo taken. Hours are Monday - Saturday: 10am to 9pm and Sunday: 11 am to 6 pm.
Mad Hatter Tea Party
March 25 and March 28, anytime between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Bunny's Court at the Beaver Valley Mall. It might seem funny, being Mad as a Hatter with the Bunny, but he'll have sweet treats, delicious eats, and fun and games for all he meets! Click here to register.
Chippewa United Methodist Church Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 28 at 2545 Darlington Road. Chippewa Township at the CUMC
Breakfast and bunny pictures at the church fellowship hall at 9:30-11:30 a.m., Egg hunt is at 11:30 a.m. Egg hunt free, breakfast is $5 for adults and children 3-10 $3. Call 724/843-4828 for information.
Walk with Jesus. April 3 from 12 -3 p.m. at the Chippewa United Methodist Church Community Life Center. Walk with Jesus is an mufti-sensory Easter walk through experience for families to travel together in Jesus' footsteps during his last week on earth. Participants will be guided through 5 stations.
