Kids' Tennis Clinics in Beaver County

For ages 5-12, grouped by age

April 30, 2015
If your child would like to play tennis some evenings during the summer, Coach Duane Hardek is starting small, one-hour clinics in Center Township a few nights a week.

There will be two clinics: one for kids ages 5-8 and another for kids ages 9-12. He'll be using low-compression balls for the younger kids. These balls don't travel as fast, and they bounce lower than regular balls, making it easy for kids to start playing. Coach Duane also uses age-appropriate equipment to help kids understand scoring, rules, etiquette, game play, and general skills.

The focus of the clinics will be on the fundamental skills necessary to play against friends and begin to compete against others. Activities will include both drills and games, and students will have a lot of fun while being active.

If you’re interested, just fill out this form so that we have your contact information. The price will be $10 a session. You can bring your child to any available session within their age group. The clinics will be held at one of the tennis courts in Center Township.

Just be sure to fill out this form so we can contact you and know when you're planning to attend.

Coach Duane (who’s my husband, so yes, he gets the full Beaver Valley Macaroni Kid seal of approval!) is a Professional Tennis Registry, or PTR, certified 10-and-under instructor. (He’s listed on the PTR website, too.) He teaches group clinics at the Brady’s Run indoor tennis facility on the weekends and also gives private lessons.
